For a film about robots, who better to write the soundtrack then most famous robots in music?
Daft Punk have signed up to write the score of Tron 2.0, Disney's sci-fi sequel to a 1982 classic about evil computers, due for release in 2011.
This will be their third film project, having written most of the music for Interstella 5555 and directing their own sci-fi epic, Electroma.
Now it’s Disney’s turn to get the technologic treatment, and with no confirmed UK appearances this year this might be our next chance to get a dose of the Dafts.
